child safeguarding policy



St Jude’s provides training for all workers with children and implements the Child Safeguarding Policy for the Church of Ireland in Northern Ireland.



SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE



Children



KidsZone - during our morning service



We welcome families to join us on Sundays @ 11am during which we host a fun-filled children’s programme called ‘Kids Zone’. It’s for primary aged children who learn from the Bible in a creative fun way. Your kids are guaranteed to have a great time! There is also a crèche for all pre-school children. We have an All Age Service on the second Sunday of the month and invite all children to stay in for a child friendly service.


Youth



YouthZone - during our morning service
Youth Fellowship - Monday 7.30-9.15pm



On Sunday mornings during our service our young people (Secondary School age) get together to study God's word in 'Youth Zone'. This is for all young people from P7 upwards.

On Monday evenings from 7:30pm-9:15pm our Youth Fellowship (age 11-18) meets in our Church Halls (243 Ravenhill Road, Belfast, BT6 0BS). Together we discover, learn and grow as young disciples of Christ.



Life Groups



Watch our announcements for future dates



Jesus calls us to follow him. His disciples are those who are devoted to the teaching of the Bible. Life Groups are for adults of all ages who want to grow as Jesus' disciples. Meeting on the second and fourth week of the month. Currently meeting in person at the Church Hall (243 Ravenhill Rd, Belfast, BT7 2HJ) and online via Zoom.


Toddler's Group



Mondays 10am-12 noon



Meeting every Monday from 10am until 12 noon in the Church Halls (243 Ravenhill Road, Belfast, BT6 0BS). All parents, grandparents and carers of children (aged 0-4) are welcome to attend. Each gathering includes entertainment for the children like toys, activities, songs and Bible stories. There will be refreshments each Monday for the children and adults too! If you wish to attend you must book ticket(s) through our Eventbrite page



Girls' Brigade



Tuesdays 6.30pm onwards



GB is a Christian youth organisation that caters a varied programme for girls and young women. It's a great place to meet life-long friends and encourage girls to be more confident in themselves. We provides a full range activities for girls aged 3-18. New members are welcomed to join us on Tuesdays from 6:30pm at the Church (340 Ormeau Rd). St Jude’s Fellowship



Second and Fourth Wednesdays at 2pm



This is a group for women (aged 55+) living in the Ballynafeigh area. We have a varied programme and a range of activities. The members enjoy an afternoon of friendship, fellowship, fun and food in a relaxed environment. We meet on the second and fourth Wednesday of the month at the Church Hall on 243 Ravenhill Road at 2pm. For more information contact Anne Gallagher via our Contact page



Badminton



Senior - Mondays at 8.30pm
Junior - Saturdays at 10.30am



Anyone is welcome to join us to play badminton on Mondays or Saturdays. Junior Badminton is for under 18s and includes coaching. Senior Badminton meets for any adults of any ability. Christianity Explored and Hope Explored

Christianity Explored and Hope Explored are informal and relaxed weekly courses for anyone who would like to learn more about Christianity and the person at the heart of the Christian faith - Jesus Christ.

Christianity Explored is a seven-week course for anyone who wants to think about the meaning of life as we look at the life of Jesus as told in Mark's gospel.

Hope Explored is a three-week course looking at the life, death and resurrection of Jesus through Luke's gospel.

Craic with a cola can!



Outreach on the Ormeau Road



This is where people of all ages and backgrounds can drop in to our church grounds for a free fizzy drink! It's a chance to chat and get to know each other. The aim of the programme is to connect with others and share the good news of Jesus! It's on on Wednesdays from 3:30-4:30pm at St Jude’s Church on Ormeau Road. Come and join us this week where 'the craic is ninety’!
